Dr Olivia Cook

BVetMed MRCVS

Biography

Olivia qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2001 and after a period in small animal and equine practice moved (almost by accident) into the field of canine sports medicine where she has been ever since.

She holds the contracts for Yarmouth Greyhound Stadium and Suffolk Downs Greyhound Stadium and has been a licenced veterinary surgeon of first the NGRC and then its successor the GBGB for over twenty years now, working to ensure the welfare of racing greyhounds on their entry to the British racing strength, during their racing careers and after their career ends and they go on to their forever sofas.

In her spare time, what little there is, she enjoys riding her horses and writes. She is married with a teenage son, and two pet retired greyhounds.
