Georgie Barnard
Biography
Georgie has a background in law enforcement and set up and led the first ever National Business Crime Centre for the UK, aimed at supporting all law enforcement and national businesses to tackle cyber and organised crime.
Until recently she was Chief Executive for the West End Security Group whose primary purpose is to support its members in dealing with major incidents in central London.
Georgie is passionate about maintaining high professional standards and is Chair of the Professional Conduct Committee for the Chartered Association of Building Engineers. She sits on the Institute & Faculty of Actuaries Quality Assurance Committee and acts as a lay advisor to the Shared Anti Fraud Service for Hertfordshire and Beds Council.
A keen mentor, Georgie continues to support people of all ages in their personal development and enjoys working with Bookmark, a charity that helps children to learn to read.
After many years of working unsociable hours, with three daughters, numerous pets and a husband, Georgie values quality family time whenever possible. In her rare spare time, she enjoys running, gardening and cooking.
