Monica Beckles
Biography
Monica Beckles has over 25 years’ corporate leadership experience and is the founder of Inside Advantage Ltd, a firm of HR and employment law specialists that help businesses ensure compliance with employment legislation and manage performance standards. She is also the Chair of a charity called Lives Not Knives that works with young people to prevent knife crime and serious youth violence, and a former Co-opted Governor for a Special Needs School.
Before founding Inside Advantage, Monica was the Director of HR Consultancy Services for a firm of employment law solicitors where she assisted clients with policy and procedural development and conflict resolution.
Prior to moving into consultancy, Monica enjoyed a 20-year executive career and held directorships in Quality, HR, and Operations. She took a career break in 2009 to undertake a period of professional development, achieving qualifications in employment law from the University of Surrey and an Executive MBA from the University of Plymouth. Training continued when she resumed her career, becoming an ADR accredited Workplace Mediator and Chartered Manager of the CIPD.
